That’s me, Sophie.

For over 15 years, I’ve been crafting brands, building businesses, and solving problems most people run from (even tech issues). I’ve never been one to blend in, which has allowed me to collect all kinds of skills in that have shaped my unique approach to branding.

I started in letterpress (on a beautiful vintage machine), where I learned precision, patience and an appreciation for beautifully pressed type. I’ve also designed patterns for fabric (that I would wear), created stationery (that I really wanted to keep), and been a creative director for a wedding magazine.

I’ve explored other disciplines too, but it all comes from the same curiosity about how I could express myself creatively and visually. That self-expression is a big part of why I created this business.

Primary Creative exists because I’ve been where my clients are. I’ve felt the friction of showing up with a brand that no longer fits, and the clarity that comes when it finally does. 

That’s why I take a strategic, personality-led approach to branding,one that captures the nuance of who you are, and turns it into a brand that actually works for your business. 

Like me, you didn’t build a business to blend in. Your brand shouldn’t look like everyone (or anyone) else. It should be unmistakably you.
